Local lighting urban planning regulations is an instrument of urban planning used to analyse and planPublic Lighting interventions in local surrounding. Contents of this plan are a careful analysis of the area, of road network, local lighting urban planning current condition  and the analysis of lighting values. The aim is to create a series of intervention that show specific technical criteria, running and maintenance of the new system andtechnical features of device and lamps. Furthermore, it is important for a good use of energy resources, a better night security of the city and a better urban aesthetic. This plan has been required by law with L.R. 17/2000 before in Lombardia and consequently in the other regions in accordance with European rules.
